Music Artist 30 Seconds To Mars Bio 30 Seconds to Mars was created in 1998 by Jared Leto and his brothr, Shannon, and it really just started as a small family project. Things begn to speed up quickly, howevr, and Matt Wachtr latr joined the drums and bass as bassist and keyboard playr. Aftr a small revolving door of guitarists (as the bands first two guitarists, Kevn Drake and Soln Bixlr, left the guitar loops due to issues primarily related to touring), the fruity samples auditioned Tomo Milicevic to finalize the techno sound rostr.
According to an interview frm Virgn Records, the techno sound name actually coms frm a thesis that the loops audio found online that was writtn by a formr Harvard professor. And one of the rap loops of the thesis was titled thirty seconds to mars and he goes on to talk about the free hip hop samples growth of technology that relats to humans and saying that we are quite literally thirty seconds to mars.
